INSTITUTE FOR INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT(IIRD)’s
MISSION RIEV
Mission RIEV is IIRD’s flagship programme which focuses on facilitating people in various segments of life to support holistic progress. Mission RIEV was launched on October 2, 2017 and was designed to ensure employment opportunities, business models, access to basic support, services and infrastructure to people.
After huge response to it’s services it was again implemented with more amenities in 3 consecutive years.(2018;19&20)
RIEV is evolving as a tool to find feasible solutions for various needs, problems and providing services at the doorsteps of people in rural regions. This programme has also been gradually working to ensure the creation of endless employment opportunities in the villages, besides giving impetus to the rural production system, Mission RIEV has emerged as a unique community-intensive programme focused on knowing the problems of villagers and offering solutions within a given time on a low-cost basis.
Under this mission, IIRD is collectively organizing ONE LIGHT CAMPAIGN and has a success history of 3 years.
Campaigns organized by IIRD are fighting against COVID-19 pandemic and standing for Rural & Urban Development. ONE LIGHT CAMPAIGN in giving support to Rural families across the Nation have set massive production units of
• 3- Layered Masks
• Spirulina Chikki
• Oyster Mushrooms
• Vaccum Packed Vegetables(Bacteria;Virus Free)
Which in parallel is creating employment opportunities. It is pride for us all at IIRD to make you familiar with main objectives of this mission.
1. To create employment opportunities at multiple levels.
2. To minimize migration and promote reverse migration – from cities towards villages.
3. To minimize individual worries of the people irrespective of the magnitude & dimensions.
4. To minimize social disharmony.
5. To promote government schemes and programs and facilitating benefiting people at the bottom of the pyramid with the government’s initiatives.
6. To enhance the production system and economic activities in the villages in order to make the villages the vibrant centers of the rural economy.
IIRD now gives you a chance to be a change maker. During these trying times express your humanity towards many underprivileged people across our nation.
